All of us have crosses in our lives - painful burdens and private sins. Jesus told us, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." When we take up our own cross and follow Christ, we commit our way to the Lord, and when we do, we discover that He has indeed acted; our individual crosses are covered by THE cross, the cross of Christ.
